If I’m being honest… I’ve always had a hard time getting dressed for days on the golf course.
Between following the kids from hole to hole, long stretches in the sun, and the unspoken (and sometimes very spoken) dress code—it’s not exactly where I feel most like myself style-wise.
And that’s the problem.
Because I don’t want to feel like I’m wearing a uniform. I want to feel like me—just a slightly more practical version.
So instead of trying to fit into “golf attire,” I’ve figured out how to make it work in a way that still feels pulled together, comfortable, and—most importantly—like my style.
What I Actually Wear
I keep it simple, but intentional:
A cute, dress-code-approved top
Think polished but easy—a classic polo or a clean, slightly elevated basic. Something that passes the test but doesn’t feel overly sporty.
A flattering skirt
This is key. Easy to move in, comfortable for walking the course, but still feels feminine and styled. It instantly makes the whole look feel more like an outfit and less like activewear.
Comfy (but cute) sneakers
Non-negotiable. You’re on your feet, walking, standing, waiting… comfort matters. But that doesn’t mean they can’t look good. A classic, neutral sneaker always works.
Fabulous sunglasses
This is where I lean in a little. A great pair of sunnies pulls everything together and adds that extra bit of polish—even if the rest is simple.
Sun protection (but make it chic)
A hat I actually want to wear + a travel-size sunscreen I can throw on throughout the day. Not optional.
A fanny pack (trust me)
For the scorecard, phone, lip balm—everything you need without carrying a bag. It keeps things hands-free and easy, which is exactly what you want out there.
The Goal
I’m not trying to reinvent golf style.
I just want to feel like myself—comfortable, a little elevated, and not like I had to sacrifice my style to be there.
Because if I’m going to spend the day on the course… I’m at least going to feel good in what I’m wearing.
